“Now this is in no way to be cocky so please don’t take it as such. I can never forget how to dance. That’s in my soul. When the news broke on October 1st 2008 on TMZ.com that Tionne “T-boz” Watkins, was going to be a candidate on Celebrity Apprentice 2, a mix of excitement and skepticism arose. While it was a great opportunity to see our beloved Tionne on NBC on a weekly basis, the dire consequences was another reason to label her as a washed up celebrity for taking the reality television route. In actuality, if there was a reality show fit for Tionne, Celebrity Apprentice was definitely it.
—Chris Wilson, webmaster of Cyber TLC, had the opportunity to listen to a few tracks from T-boz’s upcoming solo album. Here is what he had to say…
“I wanted to know what the heck to expect from her solo album, so guess what…..T-Boz played me a few tracks on the phone. I can’t give you song titles or lyrics because I promiseddddddd…..butttttttt - so HOT. The beats are banging. Club bangers. The vocal arrangement is hot. There’s a track that was given to her by Rodney Jerkins that’s similar to “Feedback” by Janet, which Rodney gave directly to T-Boz and not Janet…..and it’s hotter than Feedback!!! She has many different flavors…..it’s not all hip-hop, it’s not all R&B, it’s not all pop…….it’s a shake ‘n bake of it all.”
