May 11, 2007. If you thought that the relationship between Usher and his mother, Jonnetta Patton, couldn't get any more estranged, you'd be wrong. MediaTakeOut.com has discovered that Jonnetta's going after a new client - Usher's ex-girlfriend Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas.

In an exclusive interview, a person close to Chilli told us that she's considering signing on to Jonnetta's management company, J-Pat Management. The tipster explains, "[Chilli] has been managing her own career for a [while]. But with a new album coming out later this year, it might be time to bring in someone else to help."

Fans who await the anticipated solo album of TLC singer; Rozonda Chilli Thomas, got yet another taste last week, as “Straight Jack,” featuring rapper Missy Elliot leaked unto the internet.


The track’s beat is undoubtedly on fire and was definitely made for the clubs however; the downfall of the song simply comes down to lackluster lyrics and poor delivery. Chilli is going “Straight Jack,” great concept; however the idea is not fleshed out completely. Thus, the meaning of the song will go over the heads of most, in which should have been fleshed out in the verses. The payoff of the track ends up being Missy Elliot’s rap, which helps to flesh out the “straight jack,” metaphor in which adds to the story being told in verse two. Despite this, the chorus and the beat, is addictive.
